Itinerary
Fly to Oslo. Land and take the express train into the city centre. Check in to the hotel. Remainder of the day at leisure.
Enjoy a full free day in energetic Oslo. The city is easily explored on foot and is home to many museums and art galleries and Vigeland Park, home to over 200 sculptures, is well worth a visit.
This morning jump onto the scenic Bergen Railway to the mountain station of Myrdal. This journey offers fabulous views of this magnificent landscape. Arrive Myrdal and change to the Flam Railway which is one of the steepest train lines in the world. Arrive into Flam and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.
Today will be spent cruising through the Naeroyfjord UNESCO landscape to Gudvangen passing between towering mountains standing some 1700 metres high. After cruising, take a coach to Voss and board the scenic train to Bergen. Enjoy the rest of the day free to explore the city.
Enjoy a full free day in Bergen. Explore Torget Fish Market to sample fresh seafood or opt to discover one of the numerous museums in the city. Highly recommended is taking the funicular to the top of Mount Floyen for panoramic views of the seven mountains that surround the city.
Enjoy free time until you board the airport bus back to Bergen airport for the flight home.
