Itinerary
Departure to Lucerne, which is located on the banks of Lake Lucerne and is considered the gateway to central Switzerland. It is inserted in an impressive panorama of mountains, with several attractions, souvenir shops and watches. A charming atmosphere. Continue the trip to Engelberg, located in an extensive mountain valley, about 1000 meters above sea level. Visit to Mount Titlis and its glacier with the Rotair rotating cable car. At a height of 3,020 m, you will enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of the Central Alps, an impressive mountain panorama, different restaurants with sunny terraces, an ice cave and the impressive Titlis Cliff Walk suspension bridge. Continue to Interlaken, located at the foot of the Jungfrau mountain. This city is in the Bernese Oberland, on an alluvial plain, between the Thun and Brienz lakes. Overnight in Interlaken.
Departure from Interlaken by the lake of Thun to reach Bern, a city located next to the river Aare overlooking the Alps. Few cities have managed to maintain their historic features as well preserved as Bern, the capital of Switzerland. The historic center of this city has entered the list of UNESCO World
Heritage Sites. It also boasts Europe’s longest covered shopping boardwalks, truly a unique place. After visiting the city, continue to Gruyères, an idyllic town that seems to have emerged directly from the Middle Ages with its impressive medieval castle. The trip continues to Geneva, a city located on the bay where the Rhone bids farewell to Lake Geneva. Overnight in Geneva.
Located in the far east of Switzerland, Geneva has a lot to offer. Discover the European headquarters of the UN and places like: the Grand Théâtre and the Geneva Opera House. Then travel to Lausanne and Montreux, passing the majestic Chillon Castle, located on a rock on the shores of Lake Geneva, it is the most visited historic building in Switzerland. For almost four centuries, Chillon was the residence and profitable customs station of the Counts of Savoy. Free time in Montreux, a combination of city, mountains, vineyards and the shores of Lake Geneva, form a postcard landscape. A true piece of paradise, which has seduced artists, writers and travelers, who seek natural beauty,
tranquility and inspiration. Later explore the Rodano river valley as far as Täsch. From here you can continue by narrow gauge train to Zermatt, nestled at the foot of mighty Mount Matterhorn. Overnight in Zermatt.
Zermatt is located at the foot of the Matterhorn and in the middle of a huge ski and trekking region, this makes this place one of the most seductive villages in the world. This vacation destination is an area
where cars are prohibited, so it was possible to preserve its originality. Walk through the narrow streets, designed by buildings, that seem to have come out of a fairy tale, now the only concern is to breathe the fresh mountain air, enjoy the local architecture and try the Swiss cuisine. Here the excursion possibilities are almost limitless. Enjoy a stroll, shop or take an optional excursion to the Gornergrat: Europe’s highest open-air train departs from Zermatt towards the Gornergrat observation
platform, at 3,089 meters, accessible from whole year. Overnight in Zermatt.
Take a morning trip with the famous Glacier Express train. This is one of the most famous panoramic trains in Switzerland, which connects the well-known tourist centers of Zermatt and St. Moritz. In the comfort of the panoramic car you can admire the impressive landscapes of snow-capped mountains and glaciers. The journey of approximately seven hours is full of adventures: go through 291 bridges, 91 tunnels and cross the Oberalp Alpine Pass at 2,033 meters. A real gift for railway lovers! Over night in St. Moritz.
In the morning departure to Julier and Chur pass to reach Vaduz, capital of Liechtenstein. Upon arriving, you will see the Castle of Vaduz, which is on top of a mountain. Follow the city’s main street, Städle, and you will find the government building and the parliament. Admire Dom St. Florian, a neo-Gothic church that was built in 1874. Depart for Zurich, passing through the Toggenburg region with its picturesque houses and romantic mountain lakes.
