Embark on an amazing 5-star Amazon adventure cruise aboard the Iberostar Grand Amazon. Sail on the Negro River towards the Jaraqui region, with a striking sunset at the upper deck and classical music. Captain’s welcome cocktail with presentation of the officers and crew and safety procedures drill.
Welcome dinner at the Kuarup Restaurant.
Awake to a beautiful sunrise and breakfast at Jaraqui stream region. Trek through the Igarapés to observe palms and high trees used for house construction and as medicines by the local villagers. Return to the ship for a lecture “Introducing Amazon” at Salao Lua, then lunch.
Lecture “Amazon Pink Dolphin” followed by boat ride through the islands in Três Bocas region to see orchids, bromeliads, toucans and macaws.
Dinner. Entertainment with the expedition team at the upper deck.
Morning tour to an indigenous community at Cuieiras river area. Visit their school, medical center and homes, as well as their manioc flour and handicrafts production.
Lecture “Amazon Fish” at Salao Lua and lunch at the upper deck.
Afternoon boat ride and visit to a local farm in Ariaú region for piranha fishing.
Dinner at Kuarup Restaurant.
Evening boat ride with a chance of seeing alligators.
Early-morning boat ride in the Ariaú river region for bird watching. Return for breakfast at Kuarup restaurant, followed by Amazon pink dolphin observation and a visit to the river’s beach.
Lecture “Amazon Birds” at Salao Lua and lunch at the terrace.
After lunch, visit the Rubber Tappe Museum.
Special farewell gala dinner at Kuarup restaurant and Folkloric show at Salao Lua.
Breakfast & day at leisure in Manaus.
Ship will be at the port of Manaus for embarkation / disembarkation, so enjoy the day at Iberostar Grand Amazon or take the day to explore the city of Manaus (OPTIONAL). Lunch and bar/pool services will remain available during the day.

Breakfast, followed by a motorboat ride to visit the house of a local, in the region of Janauaca Lake, know their way of life on the river, customs and crop-raisings.
After returning, listen to a lecture about the Amazon fruits at Salão Lua and lunch at the upper deck.
In the afternoon, Piranha fishing or fauna and flora watching in the Manaquiri region.
Enjoy the sunset followed by dinner and an evening boat ride with a chance of spotting alligators.
Early morning boat tour in the Lake to enjoy the beautiful surroundings at sunrise, a great opportunity to see many birds and enjoy the magnificent and peaceful Amazon.
Later, another boat excursion through lakes, inundated areas and streams OR a walk through the Jungle in Manacapuru region. Lecture “Amazon people and Culture” at Salao Lua, and then lunch.
Afternoon boat ride to Janauari area, including a stop at a floating house and the possibility of purchasing local handicrafts. Special farewell gala dinner at Kuarup restaurant and Folkloric show at Salao Lua.
