Breakfast at the hotel. At the coordinated time, we will begin our culinary adventure on a typical Lima market, where you will be able to recognize and come into contact with some of the main ingredients that have made Peruvian gastronomy famous, and you will taste some native fruits of Peru. We will continue our panoramic tour through the beautiful Miraflores seaboard towards the bohemian neighbourhood of Barranco. On the way we can see some of the most emblematic restaurants. Upon arrival in Barranco, we will get off the vehicle to take a short walking tour through its traditional streets, observing restaurants, cafes, and traditional bars.
Then, we will arrive at the Chorrillos neighbourhood and visit the fishermen’s wharf, from where most of the capital’s most renowned restaurants are supplied. Finally, our last stop will be in a renowned restaurant located by the sea, where we will have a demonstrative class of ceviche and pisco sour. Following, we will enjoy an exquisite lunch with a nice view of the Pacific Ocean.
Return to your hotel.
City Tour by Night + Magic Water Circuit
At 18:00 hrs we will pick you up from your hotel to start the panoramic city tour by night in the Colonial
Centre where we would see the Main Square, the Cathedral, and the Government Palace.
After the tour we will go to the “Magic Water Circuit”, a complex of green spaces of 180,000 square meters with 13 ornamental fountains and striking lighting effects that have set a Guinness Record to be the largest fountain complex of the world in a public park. Return to the hotel and overnight.
Full day tour including a visit and Tasting at a Pisco Production
Hacienda, a Peruvian Paso Horse Show, the visit to the Huacachina Oasis in 4×4 trucks. Early in the morning we will pick you up from your hotel to transfer you to the city of Ica, to Hacienda La Caravedo, one of the most emblematic Pisco makers wineries of Peru, where we will receive you with a refreshing Chilcano de Pisco to start the tour to the oldest operating distillery from America.
After savouring 336 years of tradition, we will go to the current production plant, which is considered the most modern in Peru. Then we will carry out an exclusive tasting with 5 of the most awarded Piscos from the winery and we will finish the experience savouring a typical local 3-course lunch while we enjoy an exclusive Peruvian Paso horse show.
Next, we will move to the famous Huacachina Lagoon, recognized for being the only natural oasis in South America, where you will have a few free minutes to explore it and take photos.
Next, we will board our 4×4 vehicle (they can be pick up or tubular trucks), which will take us through the desert, crossing dunes of different sizes until we reach the camp. On the way, we will stop at one of the dunes to practice sandboarding. Once there, you will have time to settle in the Glamping where you will spend the night. Once settled in your tent, you will be invited to the food area, which consists of a table, cushions, rugs, candle lamps, spheres of light, and where you can enjoy an exquisite barbecue prepared by your Chef.
Overnight in the Ica Desert
At 8:00am we will transfer you to a local restaurant for breakfast. Then, transfer to your hotel in Paracas. Free afternoon to rest and enjoy the hotel facilities. Optionally and with an additional payment, you can request the overflight to the Nasca lines from the Ica or Pisco airfield.
Overnight in Paracas
Breakfast at the hotel. At the arranged time, transfer to the Paracas harbour to board a speedboat equipped with life vests and comfortable seats. For this tour, it is advisable to wear a good jacket or wind breakers as it gets very windy once the boat gets in motion. Along the way we will see the famous figure known as The Candelabro, an enigmatic design etched on the desert floor hundreds of years ago. The Candelabra is overlooking the Ocean, so here you will have the chance to take pictures, as well as to learn about the most popular theories about it. Afterwards we will continue to the Ballestas Islands.
The Ballestas Islands are inhabited by amazing marine life, with over 200 types of migratory and resident birds, including Peruvian Pelicans, Belcher’s gulls, Humboldt penguins, guanay cormorants, red-legged cormorants, Inca terns, Peruvian boobies, turkey vultures, among others. In addition, you will also see around the Islands hundreds of sea lions resting at the beaches, sleeping on the rocks or swimming nearby. The Islands also provide shelter to the shy Humboldt penguins which are usually seen at the entrances of small caves near the cliffs. After touring around the islands, we will return to the Paracas harbour. In the afternoon, it’s time to return to Lima.
NOTE: The exact time of departure to the Ballestas Islands is subject to the weather, being necessary that the port captaincy of the approval for navigation.
After making the tour of the islands, we will return to the mainland and transfer it to the terminal to board the bus to the city of Lima. Upon arrival, our staff will be waiting for you to transfer you to the airport or hotel, according to your itinerary.
