You are greeted outside the San Jose International Airport and helped with your bags for the comfortable 15 minutes drive to your hotel in San José.
Overnight in San Jose
Very early morning you will transfer to Guápiles town (Meeting point) to have breakfast and then continue to Pavona Dock, where you will board the boat, to travel along canals that meander through the dense lowland rainforest. Check in and your hotel and the staff will give you a warm welcome. This afternoon, after lunch you will visit the village.
Overnight in Tortuguero
Spend the day exploring many of the secondary canals of Tortuguero National Park, an area extremely rich in flora and fauna. Its humid tropical forest is home to many species of birds, insects, and wildlife, such as crocodiles, jaguars, howler monkeys and peccaries. This is the most important nesting site in the entire western half of the Caribbean for the green turtle (June-October). Other species of turtles which nest in the park include hawksbills, loggerheads, and the giant leatherbacks.
Overnight in Tortuguero
After breakfast, boat transfer to Caño Blanco/Pavona Dock; then land transfer to Guápiles to have lunch, after that relax and enjoy a scenic drive through the countryside of San Carlos Valley to La Fortuna in Arenal. On a clear day, you will have an amazing view of the volcano from your hotel. Check in at your hotel.
Overnight in Arenal
Breakfast at your hotel. You will be picked up at your hotel to go to Sky Adventure Park. First, you will ride an open-air gondola from the ground to the heights where you’ll be dropped off at an observation area for fantastic views. From this area, you will start riding down on a zip line track stretching across canyons and in between treetops, the exhilarating adventure of zip lining down the mountainside begins; ultimately returning you to the starting point at the main building. This is the most thrilling zip line in the country. You will be back to your hotel to get some rest. In the evening you will head to Tabacón Hot Spring and also enjoy a delicious dinner at the resort restaurant.
Overnight in Arenal
Enjoy another great, healthy breakfast and following it you will be driven to Arenal Lake where you will board a boat that will take you across the lake for an amazing trip to Monteverde. At the other side of the lake, a vehicle will be waiting to transfer you to Monteverde and your hotel. Enjoy this wonderful tour and observe the exotic beauty that hosts this paradisiacal place. Admire the transition of the rainforest to the cloud forest where you will reach an altitude of 3,600 feet (1200 meters) above sea level where you can see perhaps the best view of the Monteverde Cloud Forest and the amazing panoramic views of the Arenal Volcano. Check in at your hotel and get some rest. Night Tour starts right after nightfall, allowing you to watch the animals that are awakening and the others that seek their nests and burrows to sleep. Nightfall in Monteverde is the spark that ignites biodiversity activity.

Today your private transportation will pick you up and drive you to Liberia International Airport to catch your flight back home.
