Highlights of Southern Ireland

A full day awaits you as we depart Dublin Heading south we stop at Avoca, a great place to stock up on Irish goodies, followed by a visit to the settlement of Glendalough in the mythical Wicklow Mountains. Enjoy breathtaking photo opportunities, a stroll around the lakes of Glendalough, or have hearty lunch. Continuing south we arrive in Kilkenny, spend the evening exploring some of Kilkenny’s main attractions before dinner. Spend the overnight in the medieval city of Kilkenny.

Traveling south we make our way to the historic sites of The Rock of Cashel and it’s scenic surroundings. Followed by a visit to the Blarney Castle. This romantic Irish castle is home to the famous Blarney Stone! We arrive the t city of Cork in time to explore an English market, do a walking tour and / or do some shopping. Enjoy an overnight in Cork.

Heading west as we leave Cork we make our way to the beautiful Beara Peninsula located on the famous Wild Atlantic Way. Enjoy the ocean views, quaint villages, and numerous pubs and restaurants serving fresh locally caught seafood. Relax in the colourful town of Kenmore for the next two nights.

Today we explore the famous Ring of Kerry. A driving route through dramatic mountains, lake scenery, the majestic Atlantic Ocean and quaint villages. Shop for authentic Irish crafts and gifts, before we make our way to the town of Killarney – a great place to enjoy a late lunch or more shopping. Return to Kenmore for some evening entertainment in one of it’s colourful pubs, and spend our last night in Kenmore.

This morning we make our way northwest to explore the Dingle Peninsula. Enjoy activities such as: hold-a-lamb experience, attend a sheep dog demonstration, visit a distillery, or take a food tour of Dingle Town. Enjoy an overnight in Dingle.

In the morning we make our way to Dublin Airport or your chosen hotel.
