For almost four centuries, Chillon was the residence and profitable customs station of the Counts of Savoy. Take some time in Montreux, a combination of city, mountains, vineyards and the shores of Lake Geneva, form a postcard landscape. A true piece of paradise, which has seduced artists, writers and travelers, who seek natural beauty, tranquility and inspiration. Later you can explore the Rodano river valley as far as Täsch. You can take an optional excursion to the Gornergrat: Europe’s tallest outdoor rack train departs from Zermatt towards the sunny Gornergrat observation platform, 3,089 meters above sea level, accessible all year round.
