You can visit the Ludwigsburg Residential Palace, the former residence of the Württemberg kings and the largest originally preserved Baroque palace in Germany. It is surrounded by a set of beautiful gardens called “Blühendes Barock“ (flourishing Baroque),
representatives of various artistic periods. Overnight in Ludwigsburg.
The journey continues to the Maulbronn Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The old Cistercian abbey, a representative work of medieval architecture, is considered the best preserved and most impressive monastic complex in the northern Alps.
Continue to the city of Karlsruhe, near the border with France. It stands out for its baroque-style palace being the heart of the city with 32 streets radiating from it like the nerves of a fan, which is why the nickname of Karlsruhe is “fan city”. Overnight in Karlsruhe.
Travel to the city of Baden-Baden, the former summer residence of the European
high nobility and known worldwide as an elegant hydrothermal station. International metropolis of culture and art, Baden-Baden captivates visitors from all over the world. The trip continues along the High Route of the Black Forest that will take us through traditional villages such as Baiersbronn
and Freudenstadt. Accommodation in the Triberg region in the Black Forest.
Today you can visit the fascinating open-air museum „Vogtsbauernhöfe“. There the history
and culture of the Black Forest come to life. All farms represent the architecture and economy of their region of origin, thus covering practically the entire Black Forest. Then visit the Dorotheenhütte glass factory in Wolfach. Continue to Triberg, where you can admire the largest cuckoo clock in the world and the famous Triberg waterfalls. Overnight in the Triberg region in the Black Forest.
Departure to Lake Titi, a lake of glacial origin which is located in the heart of the Black Forest. There you can rest, take a boat trip and enjoy the scenery. Onwards towards Lake Constance which offers endless attractions and activities and connects Germany with its neighbors Austria and Switzerland. From Meersburg you can take the boat to the Island of Mainau, also called the Island of Flowers that will impress you with its great variety of flowers throughout the year and the baroque splendor of its palace. Meersburg will captivate you with its New Palace, which stands out impressively over picturesque vineyards and the deep blue of Lake Constance. Overnight in Meersburg.
Head north to the Hohenzollern Castle that still looks as if time has not passed. Located on top of Mount Hohenzollern, which gives its name to the castle, and at an altitude of 855 meters, it offers a view almost as spectacular as the design of the fort itself. The journey continues to Tübingen, the famous university city, whose carefully restored medieval center is perfectly combined with the daily activity of a young student open to the world. Steep stairs, narrow alleys and pointed roofs outline the silhouette of the historic center. Overnight in Tübingen.
Depart to the Bebenhausen Monastery, a former Cistercian abbey and one of the best-preserved monasteries in southwestern Germany. You can stop at Waldenbuch, home to the
family-owned Ritter Sport company that makes one of the best and most famous chocolates in Germany. After the visit of the chocolate exhibition in which you can not miss the tasting, the trip continues to Nürtingen. Overnight in Nürtingen.
Stuttgart is not only the headquarters of Mercedes-Benz and Porsche, is also one of the greenest cities in Europe, with a beautiful historic center. You can see architectural masterpieces such as the Old
Medieval Castle, the New Baroque Palace, the beautiful Markthalle Market and the Weißenhof colony.
